xpiinkhibiscus asked: Thank you for giving credit! I have seen so many beautiful and amazing cosplays posted everywhere without the person getting any credit for their work!
Hey, thanks! :)
Lack of credits always was (and, sadly, is) one of the greatest problems that always enrages me during my time in Internet. It always makes me mad, when I find a perfect photo of a great cosplayer with absolutely astonishing costume that doesn’t have even a link to someone’s DA or Twitter. Most of the time it’s just a noname jpeg image with a "hot cosplay babe" caption. Even without character’s or fandom’s name. Ugh. >_<
So, basically, when I decided to host a blog with cosplay photos, providing correct credits was, without the doubt, the main and absolutely mandatory thing. At first “credits” were just a simple link to source where it was found, now it became more complicated stuff with a proper structure, so people who likes some particular costume or cosplayer or photographer can easily access authors’ sites and galleries without long searching. I also have in plans to add additional credtis for make up artists, post-production authors, etc.
I’m also opened to authors, who want to fix credits, add, remove or replace something. :)

Submitter’s Comment:My first cosplay. Please be kind. :P
I made the cyberplanner (the face piece) by winging it (i.e. there were no tutorials out there at the time that I could find) and it was HARD because I am allergic to latex and silicon so it is VERY fragile and literally breaks every time I take it off. It does light up, but it is hard to see in photos - sorry!
I also made the cybermite (the bug on my coat), which is based off of Brooke Dibble’s original designs, and the hand pulsar, which also lights up and gives off a slight “charge”, I also painted the floral pattern on the bow tie to match the pattern from the episode. The pocket watch is vintage and works. ( I need to find a way to secure it better though - keeps falling off when I jump around!) I also make a bunch of “extra” cybermites that I carry with me that I toss at people that I want to upgrade. (And I may have named all my extra cybermites Sheldon, and I may yell BAZINGA when I throw them. Yes I am a total nerd)
Sadly, I can’t sew to save my life, so the clothes were either already mine, or bought at thrift store ( gotta love those!!!)
I’m hoping to get professional cosplay pics someday!
